Left Hand Tool Bar - The left hand tool bar provides the frequently used options. The Reminders button displays the reminders that are currently due to be sent (see reminder form). The New Patient button adds a new patient (see patient form), and the advanced search allows you to find patients using a range of criteria (see search form).
Help - You can view the help file at any time by selecting the "Help" button, the "Exigen Reminder Help" item on the help menu item or by just pressing the "F1" key.
Patient Search - This is a quick search facility. It operates
just on a patient's name (see Patient Search).
Type in the name of the patient you are looking for and click the Search button
(
) or just hit the
enter key.
If the search finds exactly one match then that patient's record card is shown. If the search finds multiple matches then the search results list is displayed.
Patient Count - The number of patients currently in the system is displayed in the bottom left hand side of the main window.
Toolbar Buttons -
Edit Patient. Available
when the search results are displayed. Allows the record card for the currently
selected patient to be opened.
Save Patient. Available
when a patient's record card is displayed and some of the patient's details
have been updated.
Print. Available
when a reminder is selected on the reminder form or when the report tab is selected
on a patient's record card.
Print Preview.
Available when a reminder is selected on the reminder form.
Patient Search.
Searches for the patient entered in the adjoining field.
