
The patient record form allows you to view and update a patient's details.
The commonly accessed information is displayed permanently across the top of the form. Further information is accessible via a set of tabbed forms.
The date of birth and last appointment fields have "..." buttons associated with them that allow easy selection of dates via a popup calendar. The Last appointment also has the "Today" button for quickly setting the appointment date.
When a new patient is added the personal tab details are shown by default. When editing an existing patient the recall details are shown by default.
The Personal tab allows the patient's address, National Insurance and NHS numbers to be entered.
It is also possible to specify a Guardian - this can be used in reminder letters sent to minors. Note, if no guardian information is given then the guardian details default to "Mr & Mrs Surname" when inserted into reminder letters.
The right hand column allows the interval before the patient's next appointment to be set. If you do not want the patient to receive a reminder you may select the "No Appointment" option. Exigen Reminder automatically calculates and displays the date of the next appointment.
The notes tab allows additional information to be entered for the patient. Notes are automatically saved without the need to press the save button.
Patients can be assigned to categories for promotional purposes. This option is only available for Exigen Reminder Plus. Categories available are configured using the configuration window.
Exigen Reminder records the dates when a patient is added, their name is changed, appointments set and reminders sent. This information can be viewed on the history tab.
The reports tab allows patient specific reports to be printed. GOS forms may be printed using this facility.
The Rx tab allows the last set of Rx information for a patient to be stored. This can provide a quick reference without needing to retrieve their record card from the filing system.
The advanced tab allows the date that reminders were sent to be updated. The Reminder sent dates are automatically updated by Exigen Reminder when reminder letters are printed, but may be updated manually if required, e.g. if a reminder is sent manually or a reminder is lost in the post.
The advanced tab also allows patients to be deleted from the system.
