Promotion List

Promotions are only available with Exigen Reminder Plus.

When promotions are available the "Promotions" button appears in the left hand short cut bar.

A promotion consists of two parts; a selection criteria that determines the patients who will be sent the promotion and the promotional letter.

The "Promotions" form lists all the promotions that have been created, ordered by their creation date (newest first).

Once a promotion has been sent then the promotion details/letter can no longer be updated. Sent promotions still appear in the promotion list - the date they were printed and the number of patients who received the promotion are displayed in the right hand side details pane.

Promotions are printed from within the "Promotion Edit" form.

Promotions can be created from scratch or by copying an existing promotion (see Copy option below).

Edit

This option allows the patient selection criteria to be edited - see "Promotion Edit" for more details.

Edit Letter

This opens up the promotion letter in MS Word in order to write/update the letter.

View Patients

This displays a list of patients who are currently selected to receive this letter.

Copy

Some promotions are sent on a regular basis - e.g. new sunglasses stock each spring. Rather that have to create a promotion from scratch the copy option allows an existing promotion to be copied.

Select the promotion to be copied in the promotion list and press copy. The new promotion will have the same selection criteria and letter as the original promotion.

New

Open the "New Promotion" window.

Delete

If a promotion has not yet been printed then the promotion may be deleted.
